Hike Powerline Pass
A gentler valley trail into the Chugach from the Glen Alps trailhead, the same lot as Flattop and the overlook. Mostly a hike; also used for biking and skiing.
A wide multi-use trail from the Glen Alps trailhead into the valley behind Flattop, in Chugach State Park about 20 minutes from downtown. The easier choice than the Flattop climb: walk as far as you like and turn around. Used for hiking, biking and skiing.
